From Urla’s Markets to New York

Every piece of jewelry tells a story, but mine carries the echoes of a journey that spans continents and lifetimes. It all began in the sun-drenched town of Urla, İzmir the place where the Aegean breeze meets the scent of wild jasmine, and where I spent my childhood growing up.

Long before this brand had a name, my days were filled with crafting jewelry by hand. At a modest stall in the local markets, I would offer my creations to travelers from every corner of the globe. The hum of those vibrant marketplaces and the spark of creating something with my own hands laid the foundation for everything I do today.

Life, however, often leads us down unexpected paths. I eventually pursued a career as a professional chef, following in my family’s footsteps. Yet, my passion for jewelry design never faded; it remained a constant, rhythmic pulse in my life. Even in the midst of a demanding culinary career, I dedicated my rare days off to setting up my stall, reconnecting with the very thing that started it all.

The road was not always smooth. One day, an emergency forced me to leave my stall unattended. When I returned, I faced a heartbreaking reality: every single piece I had poured my heart into had been stolen. In that moment, I had a choice to walk away from my art or to find the strength to start again. I chose to persist.

As the digital world began to bridge the gaps between creators and collectors, I saw a new horizon. I transitioned my work online, turning a local passion into a global presence. This resilience eventually led me to a new adventure: moving to the United States as a professional chef, ready to embrace the fast-paced, defiant energy of New York.

Today, I have arrived at a place where those two worlds the disciplined precision of the culinary arts and the soulful, delicate nature of jewelry design converge. I have moved beyond the professional kitchen, dedicating my full energy to the one thing that has remained constant through every change: my jewelry.

Every piece I design is more than just an accessory; it is a reflection of a journey that survived setbacks, crossed oceans, and found a home in the heart of New York. I have learned firsthand that when you pour your soul into your work, nothing is ever truly lost it is simply transformed.
